Geelong Business News runs the Community Business Awards, known as the Bollies.The award celebrates its ninth anniversary this year. It’s supported by United Way, Geelong Business Network, BacLinks, the Gordon Institute of TAFE and partnered by Sue Marshman Recruitment and major sponsor Lake Imaging who donate the $7,500 major prize and have done so for the past four years. Monthly winners receive a special trophy plus a profile in Geelong Business News. The overall winner wins $7,500 to go to a charity of their choice, a special trophy and a $2,000 printing package from Adcell Print Group, the publishers of Geelong Business News. The purpose of the accolade is to recognise and reward businesses that make a significant contribution to the community, either through supporting a community cause, or through their normal business activities. | ![]() |
